Covectra was founded by Dr. David Bear to develop serialization-based solutions for track & trace, as well as to combat drug abuse and diversion and counterfeiting.
The company launched its cloud-tested AuthentiTrack serialization database, AT Cloud, capable of serial number generation, management, and aggregation from unit dose up to pallet, with rework capability in the supply chain. Since the validation of that system, Covectra has processed over 2 billion serial numbers for global pharmaceutical and food/beverage brand owners.
Utilizing its domain expertise in prescription drug diversion and abuse, Covectra launched ControlTrack, the first serialization-based solution for tracking controlled substances from the point of sale to the patient, and providing the physician with tools to monitor the adherence of the patient.
Recognizing the need worldwide for more cost-effective packaging line serialization systems with greater functionality, Covectra launched its AuthentiTrack Enterprise system for complete serialization and track & trace. In addition to the pharma industry, the system is designed to be applied to the cosmetics, personal care, food/beverage, and tobacco industries.
StellaGuard is launched. It enables customers to authenticate a product using a smart device. This solution leverages benefit of a barcode and connects it with a three-dimensional visual reference to provide instant authentication with copy-detect protection.
